Here are excerpts from an email by Loren Conley of Harvest Vineyard Church, Ames, Iowa …
“… Wings of Refuge is a Christ-centered, long-term restoration home for women who have survived commercial sex trafficking. Their organization is five years old, and growing. They have been taking steps to expand their ministry and relocate to the Ames area to accommodate more survivors in an area that offers more opportunities. “Wings of Refuge will likely be … moved, and up and running to serve survivors by mid-March, 2019 …. The last phase entails filling the home with the supplies the staff and participants need to do programming and life together. The Wings of Refuge staff has put together an Amazon registry with items they need. … with a wide range in cost.

“Take a look at their Amazon registry here: https://smile.amazon.com/hz/charitylist/ls/8EOO5XLU2Q9W/ref=smi_cl_wl_rd_cl.

“It is worth noting that all items must be purchased new and given in their original packaging for Wings of Refuge to accept the donation. … Supplies can be dropped off at Lifepointe Church in Ames (409 13th St Ames, IA 50010) on Friday, March 1 between 5:00-8:00pm, or on Saturday, March 2 between 9:00am-1:00pm. Come for an opportunity to celebrate the move, and meet volunteers and staff from Wings of Refuge, as well as drop off supplies.”
