Books to the Rafters

The joyful art of reading books is still alive and well in the 21st century. I’m a book addict. There hasn’t been a television in my home since 2002. Lots of people would say I’m living in the dark ages, but to me a TV feels like an intruder. It’s always lurking in the background trying to sell you something. I know there’s good educational programs, but I don’t make time for TV when there are so many books yet to be read. Libraries and bookstores are filled to the rafters with more titles than any one person could possibly read in a lifetime. What more could a reader want?

A Journal, a pen, and a cup of tea.
